Pavestone Natural Greystone porcelain paving reproduces perfectly the look of grey sandstone. Simulating some of the most popular natural stone paving, the Pavestone ‘Natural Stone' Porcelain range has an exceptional and convincing look.

Also within the 'Natural' range is a stunning reproduction of York Sandstone, a Silver and a Black Granite. These sawn paving slabs are totally realistic and Indistinguishable from their stone masters to the touch and look.

Being made from porcelain gives so many benefits over sandstone. It's more durable, stays looking cleaner for longer, easier to maintain and will not be susceptible to frost freeze/thaw erosion.

The paving has straight edges, reproducing sawn sides and is a very fashionable 900mm x 600mm

 

Coverage

42 paving tiles per pallet.

1.85 paving tiles cover approximately 1.0m²

42 paving tiles (1 pallet) cover approximately 23m² based on a 5mm jointing gap.

R11 anti-slip finish to the tile surface is the latest development to meet the growing demand for porcelain outdoor paving. This unique finish roughens the tile surface without changing its appearance giving good grip underfoot in damp and wet weather.

• Greystone porcelain paving tiles will not be affected by the seasonal weather changes and will not deteriorate in freezing weather conditions that can see some stone surfaces deteriorate gradually.
   
• Greystone porcelain patio tiles are resistant to acid and alkali chemicals such as fertilizers and lawn treatments. Moss and algae cannot get established as they can on stone.
   
• Greystone porcelain paving tiles will not experience colour fading. Blacks will stay black, not turn to grey, light colours will stay faithful and will not turn grey/brown. In summary they will stay looking aesthetically as laid for many years with minimal cleaning maintenance.
   
• Greystone porcelain tiles are rectified* to give a calibrated, dimensional accuracy. This enables closer jointing so that the tiles appear as one large uninterrupted, seamless surface of flooring.

 

Laying Comments
 

During installation It is essential to use a Priming Slurry to facilitate a good bond between the tile and the bedding mortar. This will ensure the tiles do not become loose overtime or 'rock' when walked over. 

Priming Slurry should be applied to the underside of each paving tile just prior to laying. Refer to Porcelain Paving Laying Instructions if in any doubt.

A Flexible Jointing Grout should be used for jointing the paving and care must be taken not to let it dry on the surface of the tile.

 

* A rectified floor tile is one whose edges are perfectly vertical with respect to its surface. This is a result of precise machining of a regular unrectified tile, so that each of the four sides will be at a 90° angle to the top and bottom faces of the tile.
