About

Pavestone Granite is available in two contrasting monochrome colours, Silver and Carbon.

The sawn, straight linear edges provide neat contemporary aesthetics, whilst the subtly rippled surface produces a very stylish and practical finish to your paved area.

Carbon Granite often has 'seam lines' in the face that can be mistaken for hairline cracks. These are purely part of the natural character of the stone and pose no structural problems.

Coverage

35 paving tiles per pallet.

1.8 paving tiles cover approximately 1.0m2

35 paving tiles (1 pallet) cover approximately 19.2m2 based on a 3mm jointing gap.

Laying Comments

It is always advisable to view your chosen paving prior to purchasing at your local stockist to fully appreciate the diversity of colours in each range.

Important: To reduce any potential 'picture framing' stains and staining patches, from the cement in the base mortar, drawing up through to the face of the tile, we strongly recommend that a Priming Slurry is applied to the underside of the paving at the time of laying and that SBR Bond is added to the base mortar to improve the bond of the stone.

Granite paving should not be butt jointed. A gap is required for expansion and contraction of the paving, ideally about 5mm. A flexible jointing grout can be used but care must be taken not to let it dry on the surface of the paving.

TAKE CARE WHEN USING RESIN BASED JOINTING COMPOUNDS to joint Granite paving as the resin residue is extremely difficult to remove from the face of the tile. However, it can be used if placed within the jointing gap and not brushed over the face. As an extra precaution it is advisable to thouroughly soak the paving prior to jointing with resin based jointing compounds to decrease the possibility of face staining.

Each of the colour swatches reproduced in this brochure demonstrate the overall hue of a paved area. The natural colour variation of individual paving flags will vary when viewed individually.
