Penelope Walker
Llevelo Garden Design was founded by Penelope Walker who had been working as garden designer for many years. Penelope’s ethos is very much client orientated and she enjoys the variety of design requests and challenges that she is presented with. Penelope has long had a deep passion for being outdoors, plants and design so a career in Garden and Landscape Design was a natural calling.
After graduating from the English Gardening School at the Chelsea Physic Garden, London, Penelope spent a year working at The Place for Plants; a highly reputable independent Plant Nursery selling an everyday and unusual plants from perennials to shrubs and trees.
Penelope’s strength lies in her spatial awareness and ability to make a space fit for purpose as well as beautiful and reflective of its setting. Her particular passion is for gardens that promote well being or 'Relaxation Gardens'. At The RHS Chelsea Flower Show, Llevelo was awarded five stars for their 'Calm and Well being' garden for Hartley Botanic.
