SUDS Driveways

SUDS, or Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems are a sequence of water management practices and facilities designed to drain surface water in a manner that will provide a more sustainable approach than what has been the conventional practice of routing run-off through a drainage pipe into the watercourse.

These Pavestone driveway paving products provide a firm, hard surface suitable for traffic. The permeable surface facilitates the rainwater to soak into the ground (infiltration), slowly transporting (conveying) water on the surface and filtering out pollutants. This process puts much less pressure on water drains during heavy rainfall and helps to reduce the risk of floods through dain failures.
