New Walling Block from Bekstone

Winning a prestigious new supply contract for a luxury house development in the South West during the worst recession in over 50 years was never going to be easy.

" Just promoting the fantastic 'green' credentials of our Eco Co2- efficiency walling was probably not going to win it alone, so we needed to pull out all stops" explains Jon Brummitt, Bekstone Brand Director. "So after significant research we produced a completely new profiled and finished walling block called 'Weathered Dressed'.

Bekstone Weathered Dressed walling has the appearance of walling stone that has endured the elements for hundreds of years and is representative of many stone buildings throughout the United Kingdom. Each block has a well-defined raised face and irregular shape resembling weather-beaten pitched or dressed stone.

“House builders are impressed that we are prepared to invest, even in these tough economic times, to help them sell houses” summed up Mr. Brummitt.

Two national house builders in the South West have re-submitted plans to increase the number of houses built with Bekstone Walling and reduce the number of brick and render properties after their sales offices reported a higher interest and demand for properties using Bekstone.
