The planning requirements for the development specified White Lias stone so it would be in keeping with the natural stone buildings in the local area. The developers needed a product that was cost-effective and aesthetically comparable with the unique stone of the area. Bekstone’s Natural Light Weathered was finally selected being the closest match in appearance and size to the local stone.

The client wanted a readily available and consistent walling product which reproduced the colours and textures of the natural stone found in the area. Natural Light Weathered was chosen because it provides the appearance and distinctive look the developer wanted in both feature walls below render and on entire properties providing an attractive variation throughout the development
