David Wilson Homes Colsterworth

Many of the original properties in and around Colsterworth have been built using locally quarried stone. The quarries have long gone so David Wilson Homes in conjunction with the local planning office specified Bekstone Golden Buff Tumbled Face as it best replicated the colour and authentic appearance to the traditional natural stone buildings found in and around the village. The stone was laid in a random pattern using various lengths of 65mm,140mm and 225mm blocks so it closely matched the traditional building style found in the area.

Siema Construction, Blisworth Northampton.

With views stretching out over the Northampton countryside the developer specified Golden Buff Tumbled for this small executive development. Bekstone walling is also popular in brick and non-stone areas, where it stands out, adding variation and visual appeal. A random coursed pattern was selected and blends subtly with the rustic brick. The brick feature arches over the doors and windows adds to the overall aesthetic appearance of the development.

Bloor Homes, Bourton on the Water.

Bourton Chase is an attractive development of high quality family homes close to one of the Cotswolds most picturesque towns of Bourton on the Water. The distressed edges and worn face of Bekstone Golden Buff coupled with the variety of sizes and coursing options was the ideal choice.

Private development - Witney.

Bekstone’s co2efficiency walling was selected for this small development of eight properties. Based on the outskirts of the Cotswolds in the country town of Witney. Golden Buff was selected as an authentic and cost effective alternative to locally quarried natural stone.
