Background

Pavestone was established in 2003 when founder Kevin Fowler, a staunch producer of concrete paving for over 20 years, recognised a potential market opportunity to substitute sales of traditional concrete paving with that of imported natural stone paving, for little if any increase in cost. He set about demystifying the products and began marketing natural stone paving to Builders Merchants’ in saleable patio project packs.

Pavestone enjoyed rapid growth in the ensuing years and today is one of the UK’s leading authorities in the supply of natural stone paving, walling and edging products into the domestic landscaping market.

Recognising a responsibility for the environment and welfare of the workers in the supply chain Pavestone is an active member of the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI), an alliance of companies, trade unions, charities and campaigning organisations that work together to improve working conditions in global supply chains.

Pavestone strives to deliver natural stone from audited, ethically responsible stone processors and is actively involved in specifically targeted industry projects for continuous improvement in working conditions for our supply chain workers in India.
